Key Solutions is best used by practicing the most common word phrases first, i.e., the, of, of the, and, a, to, was, for, from, that, etc. The topics are in alphabetical order for ease of reference.

Please refer to Howee Wright Steno for 1000 common words order of frequency pgs 217-226 and HWS pgs 246-279 for 2600+ common words in alphabetical order. Work these drills in order of frequency rather than alphabetical order. Practicing these drills in this way enhances your speed almost immediately at whatever your current speed level.

RMR or CRR candidates, use Key Solutions Advanced course for KS drills at 140 wpm to start with and proceed to KS for RMR at 180+ wpm dictation. Also use Theory Drills at 120-140 to 200+ wpm using Howee Write Steno textbook in conjunction.
